Kendra Haste MRSS

The third Homo Faber Biennale (loosely translated from Latin as ‘Man the Maker’) opens in Venice at Fondazione Giorgio Cini on the beautiful island of San Giorgio Maggiore on September 1st, 2024. It is the preeminent presentation of artisanal works from all over the world and will attract more than 60,000 visitors. The Michelangelo Foundation has selected three Kendra Haste sculptures, a hind and two predator wolves. Oscar-nominated filmmaker Luca Guadagnino and Nicolò Rosmarini have curated and designed a global visual feast. This is the perfect precursor to Kendra’s solo show at the Ornamental Cast Iron Museum,  Büdelsdorf, Germany, in May 2025.

She has also been included in a book published by Aurorametro. 50 Women Sculptors, with an introduction by Joanna Sperryn-Jones, provides an overview of contemporary female sculptors. Along with Kendra, Louis Bourgeois, Maggie Hambling, Phyllida Barlow, Doris Salcedo, and Yayoi Kasuma are featured, as are significant other artists from the past.

Kendra's work is in private collections worldwide. Public institutions include the National Museum of Wildlife Art, Wyoming, the Tower of London, Cannon Hall Museum, Barnsley, and the London Underground at Waterloo Station.
